A function and marriage hall for MK Mahal, designed around a large, open, column-free space for gatherings. The site photography shows the ground-floor formwork stage — an expansive grid of beam shuttering and props spanning the full footprint.

Plinth beams and slab shuttering were set out across the whole plan on a dense field of adjustable props, with premium shuttering ply forming clean, level soffits for the wide pour to come. Column starter bars rise throughout, ready to carry the hall above.

Achieving a grand clear-span hall depends on precise formwork, propping and reinforcement — and Rapid Green Builders set out every level and alignment to drawing before concreting. The scale of the shuttering on site reflects the ambition of the finished venue.
